Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a laser-like device used to erase photodamage. If you suffer from brown pigmentation such as melasma or sunspots, then this laser is ideal for you.
Upon arrival at your appointment, you will receive a full consultation discussing what your goals with your skin. Our doctors will make sure you are a good candidate. If you are, the laser procedure is quite quick and simple. You will receive topical anesthesia. We give you protective eye shields and full sanitize your skin’s surface. Then a contact gel is applied to your face to allow the laser to work efficiently. The laser pulses very brightly and total treatment takes around 15-20 minutes. You may experience mild redness and your brown pigmentation may be darker during the healing process, but you can wear makeup the following day.
